Extended consciousness and the subconscious mind - they are dreams, meditations, spirit, faith, religion, belief. They are an awareness of the non-physical world.
I use art to reign in those non-physical experiences into a physical medium. Canvas and paint capture my meditations, like the play between light and dark. Each can only exist together, but I meditate on light as life and spirit.
My meditations and dreams manifest themselves beyond the canvas and into my everyday life. I live to be that light in this world, to illuminate the dark places with my spirit. I strive to be the salt of this earth - to use my God given talent to bring forth that which escapes us in everyday lift, emotions and ideas that exists on the edge of consciousness. MINJIN KUNG
